St. John Owasso, the city’s first hospital, opened at 7 a.m. on November 27, 2006 - the first patient arrived at 7:01.
Ever since, St. John Owasso’s been a busy place. With 36 patient beds, the hospital’s four stories holds 106,000 square feet of space and is connected on the east by a 70,000-square-foot medical office building. A full-service hospital, St. John Owasso features:
- 24-hour emergency department, with the city’s only medical helipad
- Center for Women’s Health with four spacious, modern birthing suites and eight postpartum/women’s services suites
- State-of-the-art surgical facilities staffed by registered nurses and board certified anesthesiologists
- All-digital diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography and bone density scans
More than 140 family physicians and specialists, and hundreds of skilled medical professionals utilize the latest medical technology to fulfill St. John Owasso’s mission of providing medical excellence and compassionate care to patients in northeast Oklahoma.
